How It Went Down
- The Bulldogs wasted no time taking the lead as Kiersten Roose led off the bottom of the first with an inside-the-park home run. Georgia added a single and a two-RBI double to extend the lead in the opening frame.
- In the top of the third, junior Sarah Johnson recorded the Pack's first hit of the morning with a single to right-center field.
- Georgia posted 11 runs in the fourth inning after a home run, a double and three singles.
- The Wolfpack struggled on both sides of the ball as the Georgia offense consistently found gaps en route to a 12-hit performance.
- Freshman Lily Livingston doubled down the left-field line with one out in the fifth to spark a comeback attempt. With two outs and two on, senior Maia Townsend doubled down the left-field line to put NC State on the board, but the rally ended after the Bulldogs recorded the final out.
- The loss moved the Pack to 2-4 on the season and 0-1 in Clearwater.

How It Went Down
- Freshman Morgen Talley earned the start in the circle against the Tigers and recorded her first strikeout in the opening frame.
- Townsend led off the bottom of the first with a single, followed by a hit from freshman Carly Short. With two on and no outs, sophomore Kendall Simmers blasted a three-run homer to deep left to give the Pack a 3-0 lead.
- Livingston notched her second hit of the day with a single to shallow center before senior Hannah Church hit a home run to deep center for her third of the season. The Pack ended the inning leading 4-0 with five hits.
- Missouri scored two in the top of the second after Kayley Lenger hit a two-run homer.
- Townsend recorded an infield single later in the game but was stranded along with another runner.
- The Pack broke the game open in the third, scoring seven runs. The highlight of the inning came when Livingston smashed a grand slam with two outs and a full count.
- The Tigers cut the lead to four (11-7) after two fielder's choices, a walk and a double brought in runs.
- Missouri scored its final run in the top of the sixth when Abby Carr doubled home Emma Jackson.
- NC State added insurance in the bottom of the sixth after Church singled to shallow right and Talley doubled to left-center. Taryn Massey drew a walk to load the bases before Carmen Montes de Oca walked to bring home Church.
- With one out, Townsend laid down a sacrifice bunt to score Talley for the Pack's 13th run.
- Talley earned the win after throwing four innings with two strikeouts while also scoring two runs and recording two hits.
- Church, Livingston and Townsend each tallied two hits, while Livingston led the Pack with four RBIs.
- The win moved NC State to 3-4 on the season, 1-1 in Clearwater and it marked its second victory over Missouri in program history. It was also the 58th win under head coach Lindsay Leftwich and the 625th in program history.
The Pack will face No. 11/8 Texas A&M at 9 a.m. before taking on 2025 national runner-up and No. 1 Texas Tech at 1 p.m. Game one will air on ACC Network and game two will stream on ESPN+.
