CARY, N.C. - The No. 9 NC State women's tennis team (5-0, 0-0 ACC) is set for a top-10 showdown with rival No. 3 North Carolina (5-0, 0-0 ACC) on Friday, Jan. 30 at 6 p.m. inside Cary Tennis Park. The matchup marks the Wolfpack's second consecutive ranked contest and will be played as a nonconference dual.

The deciding point came on court five, where Victoria Osuigwe battled to a 7-5 third-set win to seal the comeback and secure the Pack's berth in the national indoors.
The win marked NC State's first ranked victory and first comeback win of the 2026 season.
