NC State Travels to Wake Forest

RALEIGH – The NC State women's basketball team will travel to Winston-Salem to face Wake Forest on Thursday, Jan. 15 at 6 p.m. The game will be streamed on ACC Network Extra from LJVM Coliseum.
ABOUT NC STATE
- NC State has started the ACC season 5-1 and is No. 3 in the league's current standings
- The Wolfpack got back on track with a 91-54 win over SMU, its largest ACC win by margin of victory (37) this season
- NC State and Wake Forest will play for the 96th time in the all-time series, holding an 81-14 record in the series
- NC State is No. 27 in the NET with two quad 1 wins and three quad 2 wins, which combined for five is tied for the second most in the ACC (behind Duke with six and tied with Louisville)

SCOUTING WAKE FOREST
- Wake Forest was projected to finish 18th in the Preseason ACC Women's Basketball Poll. The Demon Deacons finished 9-20 overall and 2-16 in the ACC last year
- The Demon Deacons finished 10-2 in the non-conference and are 12-6 and 2-4 in the ACC this season
- Grace Oliver leads with 13.4 points per game and 24 steals
- Milan Brown has a team's most 6.2 rebounds per game
- Aurora Sorbye leads Wake with 58 assists and Opal Bird has 14 blocks to lead the team

LAST TIME OUT
- NC State bounced back to defeat SMU in wire-to-wire fashion, 91-54, on Sunday
