
Ensley, Church Earn All-ACC Honors

CHARLOTTE – Senior Taylor Ensley and junior Hannah Church of the NC State softball team brought home All-ACC Third Team honors, as announced by the conference office Wednesday morning.
Ensley capped off her final season leading the team in conference action starting all 24 games and finishing with a career high .391 batting average. The Franklin, N.C. native tallied 27 hits, including six doubles and four homers. She scored nine runs and brought home 10 throughout the conference slate. She recorded a career high .652 slugging percentage in conference play to mark the second highest slugging percentage on the team.
Church finished her first season with the Wolfpack hitting a perfect .300 in conference play. She led the team with a .729 slugging percentage and 25 RBIs throughout the 24-game conference slate. Her team high nine homers ranks third in the program record book for most during conference play in program history and put her fifth in the ACC for homers during conference play this season.
Postseason awards are selected by the leagues 15 head coaches and bases solely on conference only statistics. The All-ACC teams are made up of a 15-member First Team, 15-member Second Team, and 15-member Third Team, in addition to a 10-member All-Freshman team.
