Talley Tabbed Freshman All-American by Softball America

MERCER ISLAND, Wash. – Freshman two-way player Morgen Talley is adding Freshman All-American to her already impressive postseason honors list.
The Palm Harbor, Florida native is one of two freshmen in the ACC to land on Softball Americas 2026 list, joining Bree Carico from Virginia Tech.
Noted as one of the best two-way players in the nation by several outlets, Talley put together an impressive freshman season. She finished with a .321 batting average, .616 slugging percentage, 51 hits, 41 RBI, 33 runs scored, 13 home runs and eight doubles. In the circle, Talley led the staff with 110.2 innings pitched and 13 wins while recording 101 strikeouts.
She earned NFCA East All-Region Team and ACC All-Freshman Team honors earlier this month.
