Broadfoot, Zampardo, Zyryanova & Laki Earn ALL-ACC Honors

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Atlantic Coast Conference announced its annual All-ACC Team selections on Thursday afternoon, recognizing performances from across the line. Among this year's honorees are several key contributors from NC State, who earned accolades for both singles and doubles play.
In singles, junior Anna Zyryanova earned a spot on the All-ACC Second Team, marking another tally on the board for the veteran player. She was joined by freshman standout Michaela Laki, who made her All-ACC debut with a selection to the Third Team.
Meanwhile, the dominant doubles duo of Maddy Zampardo and Gabriella Broadfoot was recognized for their exceptional season, being named to the All-ACC First Team. The pair maintained a top-10 national ranking throughout the year and currently sit at No. 8 in the ITA rankings. Heading into the NCAA Tournament, they hold an impressive 34-9 overall record, including 9-5 in conference play. To continue their consistency the pair is 16-4 against nationally ranked opponents.
Zyryanova's latest honor adds to a decorated collegiate career. This season marked her third Academic All-ACC selection. She finished regular season play with a 12-8 overall record, going 7-3 in ACC matchups. Notably, Zyryanova was named ACC Player of the Week after stepping up to the No. 1 singles position and delivering a commanding 6-1, 6-3 win over No. 10 Connie Ma in the Pack's final regular season conference match, handing Ma her first loss of the season.
Freshman Michaela Laki quickly made her presence felt in her collegiate debut season, challenging ranked opponents from the start. Now ranked No. 27 in the ITA singles rankings, Laki holds a 6-7 overall record and went 2-5 in conference play. She earned both ACC Freshman and Player of the Week honors after a breakout performance against No. 10 Pepperdine, where she defeated No. 13 Savannah Broadus in straight sets, 6-4, 6-4, in just her second match with the Pack.
