No. 20 Wolfpack to Hold Annual Pink Meet Against Pitt on Saturday

RALEIGH, N.C. – No. 20 NC State gymnastics will hold its annual Pink Meet on Saturday to honor those who have battled or are currently battling cancer. Fans are encouraged to wear pink in support of the cause. The first 200 guests will receive a free Pink Meet T-shirt.

The Wolfpack will host ACC competitor Pitt at Reynolds Coliseum, with the meet set to begin at 4 p.m. ET. It will be streamed live on ACC Network Extra.

NC State and Pitt have faced off 61 times, with NC State leading the series 48-12. The teams first met in 1985, when Pitt won 171.100-163.200. Their most recent matchup came during the 2024 season, when NC State secured a 196.850-195.200 victory. NC State hosted No. 8 California for the first time as an ACC competitor on Feb. 2. The Wolfpack posted its highest score of the season, 196.550, but fell short against Cal's 197.175. The team recorded season-high scores on bars (49.175) and beam (49.075).

The Wolfpack also recorded the first sellout in program history during the top-25 matchup.

NC State posted season-high scores of 49.000 or better in all four events. Syniya Thomas achieved a season-best 9.850 on vault, while Caroline Volk and Ava Myers set career highs on bars with scores of 9.825 and 9.850, respectively. Ashley Knight delivered a standout performance, earning a career-high 9.925 on floor and adding a 9.900 on vault.
