RALEIGH – 10th-ranked NC State men's tennis welcomes No. 22 California and No. 6 Stanford this weekend to kick off conference play for the season. The match with 22nd-ranked California is set for 4 p.m. on Friday and the match with sixth-ranked Stanford is slated for 1 p.m. on Sunday.
Dual-Match Info
• All tennis matches are played at the J.W. Isenhour Tennis Center on NC State's campus in Raleigh and are free of charge for fans to attend - this match is set to be played outdoors.
• Parking for fans is available at West Deck off of Western Blvd across the street.
California
• Start time for the match is slated for 4 p.m. on Friday, February 28.
• Those in attendance will be able to enter a raffle to win two NC State baseball tickets.

Stanford
• Start time for the match is slated for 1 p.m. on Sunday, March 2.
• Free pizza will be given away to fans while supplies last and those in attendance will be able to enter a raffle to win a signed t-shirt from the team.

Series History with California (tied 1-1)
• Friday's dual-match marks the third meeting between the Wolfpack and the Bears but the first- ever conference meeting between the two.
• The two faced each other last season (January of 2024) for ITA Kickoff in Durham which resulted in a 4-0 win for the Wolfpack.
Series History with Stanford (trails 0-1)
• Sunday's dual-match marks the second meeting between the Wolfpack and the Cardinal. Stanford leads the series over NC State with one lone win.
• The two last faced each other in February of 2020 in the opening round of the ITA National Team Indoor Championships in Madison, Wisconsin which resulted in a 3-4 loss for the Wolfpack.

Team Highlights
• After defeating No. 9 Mississippi State by a 4-1 score on the road, the team qualified for ITA National Team Indoors for the first time since the 2020 season. The win marked the first top-10 win for the program since the 2022 season.
• A strong opening performance at the ITA Team Indoor Championships allowed NC State to take down No. 8 Kentucky by a 4-1 score, marking the second top-10 win of the season.
Individual Highlights
• The Pack holds three players ranked in singles (No. 24 Braden Shick, No. 25 Martin Borisiouk, and No. 107 Luca Staeheli) and two pairs ranked in doubles (No. 17 Braden Shick & Fons Van Sambeek and No. 22 Jules Leroux & Luca Staeheli).
• Going undefeated in doubles and singles against No. 21 Harvard, LSU, and No. 9 Mississippi State all in the same week, Jules Leroux and Luca Staeheli claimed all of the ACC Weekly Awards as announced by the conference office on Tuesday, January 28. Staeheli was named Player of the Week, Leroux was named Freshman of the Week and the two together were named the Doubles Team of the Week.
• Braden Shick earned his first conference weekly honor of the season when he was named ACC Player of the Week on February 11 for his dominant victory over No. 20 Paul Inchauspe.
