#21 Pack Men’s Tennis Defeats #17 Michigan On the Road

Ann Arbor, Mich. – 21st-ranked NC State men's tennis collected its second straight ranked win on Friday evening when they defeated No. 17 Michigan by a 4-2 score.
NC State took another ranked win Friday evening, comfortably taking down 17th-ranked Michigan on the road.
After sweeping ACC weekly awards last week, Jules Leroux and Luca Staeheli continued to showcase their dominance when they secured the first doubles win on court two, giving their team momentum. They were followed up by Martin Borisiouk and Noah Gabriel winning on court three to ensure the doubles point to the Pack.
In singles, William Manning fell in two sets on court five to 113th-ranked Patorn Hanchaikul to even out the scoreboard 1-1.
Three consecutive singles victories clinched the win for NC State to improve to 5-1 on the season. Borisiouk and Shick took their courts in commanding two set wins, followed by Leroux taking his in three after dropping the second set.
Staeheli then fell in three sets on court two, while Van Sambeek's match on court four was not played out entirely.

The Pack heads over to sixth-ranked Columbia on Sunday for a matinee match-up at 2:30 p.m. in New York.
