Broadfoot and Osuigwe Headed to NCAA Doubles National Championship

ORLANDO, Fla. - The 10th-ranked doubles team of Gabriella Broadfoot and Victoria Osuigwe earned their place in the NCAA Doubles National Championship match with a semifinal victory over USC's Lily Fairclough and Daniela Borruel. The pair will compete for the national title tomorrow, Sunday, Nov. 23, at the USTA National Campus.

Broadfoot and Osuigwe have been on a mission throughout the tournament, dropping just two sets on their run to the championship match. The All-American duo are the first Wolfpack tandem to reach the NCAA Doubles final since Jaeda Daniel and Nell Miller, who won the program's first national title in 2022.

In their semifinal match, Broadfoot and Osuigwe battled through another tight contest, ultimately coming out on top 6-4, 6-7(3), 10-3 against Fairclough and Borruel, who had dropped only one set entering the semifinal round.

NC State's duo will face Vanderbilt's Sophia Webster and Celia-Belle Mohr for the program's second national championship. The Commodores pair seeded fourth and ranked No. 12 nationally by the ITA, advanced with a 6-3, 6-2 win over second-seeded Roisin Gilheany and Gloriana Nahum of Oklahoma.
