RALEIGH, N.C. - The NC State volleyball team is scheduled to host Miami and Florida State for its 50th Anniversary Alumni Weekend, October 3-5, as the squad looks to get back into the win column.
The Pack will face the 22nd-ranked Hurricanes on Friday, Oct. 3 at 7pm on ACCNXÂ before facing off with the Seminoles on Sunday, Oct. 5 at 1pm on ACCNX.Â
Due to construction on Morrill Dr, fans should expect major delays and allow more time to arrive on campus. For egress, patrons will be directed to use Cates Ave to Pullen Road or Dan Allen Dr to access Western Blvd.

The Basics of the Matchup(s)
- NC State will host Miami for the first time since November of 2024, when the Pack beat the Canes in four sets. Then junior Courtney Bryant posted a double-double in the match after finishing with 16 kills and 10 digs. Lily Cropper posted a then career high five blocks in the win.
- Miami holds the overall advantage in the series, leading 25-8. Friday marks the 34th overall meeting between the two programs.
- The Seminoles will visit Reynolds for the first time since 2022. The Pack swept the Noles in straight sets but lost the next two meetings - both in Tallahassee.
- Sunday marks the 61st meeting between the Wolfpack and Seminoles. FSU leads the series, 52-8.
- Be the first conference win of the season.
- Be the eighth win of the 2025 campaign.
- Be the eighth win of the MWK Era.
- Be the 824th win in program history.
- Be the 215th conference win of the season.
- Be the ninth win over Miami in program history.
- NC State will host its annual alumni weekend against Miami and Florida State. The Pack will welcome over 60 former student-athletes, coaches, and support staff back to Reynolds Coliseum for the 50th Anniversary of Pack Volleyball.
- Amongst the Pack are members of: the inaugural 1975 team, the 1987 ACC Championship and first NCAA Tournament appearance team, the 2017 squad that marked the first NCAA Tournament win in program history, three All-Americans, countless All-ACC honorees, program record holders, former coaches and support staff.
- Alumni will be recognized on court on Friday against the 22nd-ranked Miami between sets two and three.
- NC State dropped both matches during opening weekend of conference play (It is worth noting that all eight sets were close [10 points or less]). The three game losing stream marks the first of the season and longest since November of 2024 (3rd through the 10th).
- Led by the offensive efforts of Courtney Bryant (3.26 K/S), Jordan Smith (2.77 K/S), and Rebecca Ring (2.56 K/S), the Pack looks to take down its first ranked opponent of the season and first at Reynolds Coliseum since October 1, 2023 when the Pack defeated then fifth-ranked Louisville in four sets.
- The last time NC State played Miami while the Canes were ranked was in 2012 when the Pack fell in four sets.
