RALEIGH, NC – For the seventh straight season, NC State women's tennis has seen at least two players earn all-conference honors after Amelia Rajecki, Anna Zyryanova, and Maddy Zampardo were named to all-conference teams, the ACC announced on Friday.
Rajecki earns All-ACC Singles First Team recognition after finishing the year as the second-ranked player in the ITA rankings and coming off her second straight semifinal appearance in the NCAA Individual Championships. The first-team All-American led NC State with 37 wins in singles, three wins short of matching the program record she set last season.
Rajecki was named Second-Team All-ACC Singles and Second-Team All-ACC Doubles last season. The Nottingham, England native leaves NC State with her name etched in the record books. She finishes her career with 109 singles wins, and 103 doubles wins, placing her third all-time in program history in both categories. This makes her only the third player to have more than 100 wins in singles and doubles with the Wolfpack.
Zyryanova earned her first All-ACC recognition as a sophomore, taking home third-team honors. Ranked as high as No. 27 this season, the Moscow, Russia native won 33 matches overall, the second highest on the team.
Rajecki and Zampardo were named second-team All-ACC doubles. The senior freshman duo went 8-2 in conference play and had a 28-9 overall record. They were consistently ranked among the top 15 this season, reaching a high point as the ninth-best duo pair in the country.
