
Two Earn All-ACC Honors on Day Two of Outdoor Championship

ATLANTA, Ga. – The NC State track and field team wrapped up day two at the 2024 ACC Outdoor Championships with several athletes earning a new best in their respective events and two earning All-ACC honors.
Senior Brett Gardner earned First-Team honors and freshman Angelina Napoleon earned Second-Team honors both in the 3000m steeplechase.
Gardner also recorded a new personal best time in the event, along with teammates Matt Bogdan and Joe Jaster. On the women's side, Alyssa Hendrix recorded a new season best time in the event.
At the conclusion of day two, the Wolfpack women check in at ninth place in the team results with 17.5 points and the men check in at 10th with six points.
The Wolfpack will wrap up action on Saturday, May 11 starting at 2pm with the men's high jump.

Women's Shot Put - FINALS

- Ta'Honny Exum was the highest finisher for the Pack in the event as she placed eighth with a throw of 15.05m
- Mahkayla Hart finished 15th with a throw of 12.59m
- Jirah Sidberry placed ninth with a jump of 5.95m
- Ally Henson placed 10th with a time of 13.75
- Kate Putman finished the race with a time of 2:12.76 and placed 31st
- Angelina Napoleon was the highest finisher for the Pack as she placed fourth with a time of 10:07.29 and earned Second-Team honors
- Alyssa Hendrix recorded a season best time of 10:42.92 to place 14th in the race
- Myles Epstein finished ninth in the event with a time of 10.78
- Zach Hughes was the highest finisher for the Pack as he finished 22nd with a time of 1:51.22
- Miles Ally recorded a new personal best time of 1:52.86 to finish 31st
- Grant Howlett finished 35th with a time of 1:53.85
- Brett Gardner finished third in the event with a new personal best of 8:31.38 to earn First-Team honors
- Matt Bogdan placed ninth with a new personal best time of 8:53.70
- Joe Jaster placed 19th with a time of 9:17.71 to record a new personal best
