Pack to Host #5 Duke for Alumni Weekend

RALEIGH, N.C. -- The NC State softball team is scheduled to host No. 5 Duke for the eighth ACC series of the season and the program's annual Alumni Weekend.
Play between the conference foes is set to begin on Friday, April 26 at 6pm on ACCNX and will wrap up Sunday, April 28 at 4pm on ACC Network. Both Saturday and Sunday's games are sold out. Tickets for Friday's series opener are still available online and will be available for purchase at the gate. Fans attending Friday's game that plan to park before 5pm will need to utilize the virtual parking permit to park on campus.Â
Prior to Saturday's game, various program alumni will be honored, in addition to a special recognition of the program's inaugural 2004 team.

- Would move the Pack to 28-20 on the season.
- (in game one) Would be the third win over the Blue Devils in program history.
- (on Friday) Would be the fourth win over a ranked team this season.
- Would mark the 622nd win in program history.
- Would be the 249th win at Dail Softball Stadium.

- The Pack recorded six stolen bases against both St. John's (2/11) and Campbell (2/18). The total ties for second most in a single game in program history.
- In the double header against Presbyterian on April 20, the Pack tallied five stolen bases between the two games.
- The 2024 squad has tallied 70 stolen bases throughout the season (led by MaKayla Marbury with 17 and Nadia Sykes with 14). The mark ranks second in program history for most in a single season and marks the most since 2021 when that squad set the program record with 91.
- In the outing with the Pirates on Feb. 28, NC State recorded six doubles -- highlighted by two from both Taylor Ensley and Kaylee Lambrecht.
- The marks sets the program record for most in a single game. Six is also the most in a single game since 2018 when the Pack recorded five against LIU Brooklyn.
- The 70 stolen bases (and counting) for the Pack ranks in at second all-time in the record book for most in a season. The 2021 squad set the record with 91.
- The second baseman tallied her 97th career hit in the win over Presbyterian on April 20.
- The senior would be the second member of the 2024 roster to achieve 100 career hits during the season.
- Sophomore catcher Amanda Hasler is making her presence known on the diamond.
- She leads the team with 14 home runs, 13 hit by pitch tallies and is second on the team with 46 hits, 96 total bases.
- Her 29 career hit by pitch total ties the program record for most in a career -- Alyssa Ishibashi recorded 29 in her career.
- A nerd of the game, Hasler is one of the most intelligent softball players on the diamond. She is constantly putting in the work to grow her game and be able to help her teammates out.
- During her freshman campaign, she became just the second catcher in program history to call pitches. She also set the program record for total number of hit by pitch for a freshman (16).
- Her 23 career home runs leads the 2024 squad with most in their career
