How it Happened
- The Pack posted four runs in the bottom of the first to take the early lead. MaKayla Marbury led off the frame with a single via bunt and later stole second. Taylor Ensley then walked and stole second while Marbury stole third. With two on and one out, Amanda Hasler took the batter's box. She was hit by her 12th pitch of the season and headed to first. Junior Hannah Goodwin then stepped up to the plate and recorded a two-RBI single and later advanced to second on the throw to put NC State on the board 2-0. Senior Kaylee Lambrecht then singled through the right side and advance to second on the throw to bring two more home. The Pack recorded two more walks before the Blue Hose could grab the final out.
- The Pack added three more runs to the board in the bottom of the second after a single and a passed ball allowed runners to score. The Blue Hose struggled from the circle as the Pack picked up four walks in the second inning alone. NC State finished off the second inning leading 7-0.

- With one out on the board in the bottom of the fifth, Nadia Sykes recorded an infield single. Freshman Katie Raper followed suit but singled to left field to have two on for Hasler. After working a 2-2 count, the sophomore hit a three-run, walk-off, home run to end the game.
- Wymann earned the win in the circle after throwing all five innings and striking out six batters. She moved to 7-5 on the season.

- After both teams went scoreless in the second, the Pack posted five in the third inning to increase the lead. A single by Amanda Hasler and a double by Ellie Goins put the Pack ahead 3-0. Freshman Katie Raper stepped up to the plate with one out and one on base. She worked a full count before drilling a ball to left field to record her first collegiate home run. Michele Tarpey followed suit and hit a solo bomb directly to center field to put NC State in front 6-0.
- Freshman Kayla Fekel pitched the first three innings for the Wolfpack and picked up three strikeouts. Fellow freshman Carly Maxton entered the circle in the fourth inning and finished out the game for the Pack.
- In the top of the fourth, Goins recorded a wild diving catch in left center field to get the leadoff batter out.
- The Wolfpack added three more runs in the fourth after Ensley recorded an RBI single and Hasler hit her second homer of the day, a two-run shot. The Pack entered the fifth frame with a 9-0 lead over the Blue Hose.
- Presbyterian struggled to get runners into scoring position and get past the Wolfpack defense. The Blue Hose recorded two hits in five innings against the Pack.
- Maxton pitched the final two innings and picked up four strikeouts. Fekel was credited with the win and moved to 3-0 on the season.
- Five members of the Pack recorded two hits – MaKayla Marbury, Ensley, Hasler, Goins, Tarpey – but similar to game one of the series, Hasler led the team offensively with three RBI's.
- Hasler recorded her 29th career hit by pitch tally in her first at bat of the outing. The total ties the program record for most career hit by pitch tallies.
