Hartman Wins NCAA Elite 90 Award for NCAA Indoor Championships

BOSTON, MA - NC State sophomore Grace Hartman has been named the recipient of the 2024 NCAA Elite 90 Award for the 2024 NCAA Division 1 Indoor Track and Field National Championships, the league announced Friday.
Hartman currently holds a 4.0 GPA while majoring in Psychology. She received the honor after the second night of the NCAA Championships in which she was recognized as a First Team All-American. The Oakwood, Ohio native finished eighth overall in the women's 5000m with a time of 15:28.57 to set a new personal best and establish herself as an All-American.Â
The Elite 90 is presented to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative grade-point average participating at the finals site for each of the NCAA's championships.
Hartman becomes the second member of the NC State track and field and cross country programs to win this award. Kelsey Chmiel also received the honor at the 2022 NCAA Division 1 Indoor Track and Field Championships.
