Hartman Earns Event Win on Second Night of Raleigh Relays

RALEIGH - The NC State track and field team returned to action today at the 2024 Raleigh Relays with Grace Hartman winning the women's 10k invitational.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Distance
Hartman clocked in at 32:28.89 in the women's 10k invitational race to finish first overall and establish the number one time in the country.Â
This marks the second-straight season a member of the Wolfpack has won a women's 10k at Raleigh Relays after Allie Hays broke the meet and facility record for the event last season with a first-place mark of 32:21.13.
Gionna Quarzo (32:28.99) and Mariah Howlett (33:09.69) also ran in the event and established new PR times.
Jumps
Kyzaiah Stone recorded a podium finish in the men's high jump, finishing third overall with a mark of 2.05m.
Sprints
After clocking in at 13.36 in the women's 100m hurdles, Ally Henson took home fifth place.
Quentin Clarke came in fifth in the men's 400m, running a new personal-best time of 47.64.
Throws
In the women's discus, Ta'Honny Exum set a new PR with a throw of 34.25m.
