
No. 19 NC State Gymnastics Readies for ACC Championship Meet

RALEIGH, N.C. – No. 19 NC State gymnastics returns to action on Saturday night as the Wolfpack competes alongside Clemson, North Carolina, and Pitt in the first ACC Gymnastics Championship since 1984.
The Pack enters Saturday evening coming off one of the most successful regular seasons in program history, compiling a 6-0 record in the ACC to claim the first regular season championship in league history.
NC State clinched the regular season crown on Feb. 17 by defeating Clemson 197.575-196.000 while firing the second-highest team total in program history and the best score of the Kim Landrus era.
The Wolfpack closed its regular season slate on Friday, Mar. 15, with NC State bringing home a second-place finish in a quad meet at fourth-ranked Florida with Iowa State and LIU.
The Pack matched its season-high vault score of 49.250 in the quad, ending the night with its second-best road score of the season, 196.825.
The evening was highlighted by a trio of 9.9+ scores from Chloe Negrete, with the graduate registering a new career high on vault at 9.925. Negrete landed in a tie for second place on vault and a tie for first place on beam, matching her vault total of 9.925. Negrete additionally fired a 9.900 on floor, with her performance securing NC State's ninth-straight ACC Gymnast of the Week honor and her fourth weekly award of the 2024 season.
Saturday's quad between the Wolfpack, Tigers, Tar Heels and panthers will be televised on the ACC Network and is slated for a 7 p.m. start time.
Fans interested in attending the meet at the Greensboro Coliseum can purchase tickets through Ticketmaster, and NC State students, alongside all students from ACC schools, receive free entry into the event with a valid student ID card.
