Davis Named ACC Men's Field Performer of the Week

RALEIGH - After picking up two individual podium finishes this past week at the Alan Connie Shamrock Invite, Jamar Davis has been named the Men's ACC Outdoor Field Performer of the Week, the league office announced Tuesday.Â
Davis won the men's triple jump with a mark of 15.12m which currently ranks ninth in the country and second overall in the ACC.Â
He also turned in a leap of 7.32m in the long jump to finish in second place. This jump is currently the 28th-best mark in the country and third-best in the ACC.
In addition to his two individual marks that earned him Outdoor Performer of the Week, Davis also ran in both the 4x400m and 4x100m relay events, helping the Wolfpack finish second and third, respectively.
