RALEIGH, N.C. – No. 21 NC State gymnastics returns to action on Saturday afternoon as the Wolfpack hosts Iowa State, Northern Illinois, and Temple in its annual Pink Meet in Reynolds Coliseum.
Fans are encouraged to wear pink, with the first 600 in attendance set to receive a pink pom pom.
The Pack enters Saturday's contest having completed a perfect ACC slate, securing a 6-0 league record in its last outing at Pitt. NC State posted its highest road score of the season on Sunday, Feb. 25, as the Pack left Pittsburgh with a 196.850-195.200 win over the Panthers.
Just its second quad meet of the 2024 campaign, NC State will meet former EAGL foe Temple for the first time since the two former conference opponents split leagues. The Pack also hosts the alma mater of its head coach, with Kim Landrus previously competing for Iowa State from 1994-97.
Iowa State, led by first-year head coach Ashley Miles Greig enters Saturday's matchup having most recently suffered a 196.500-195.700 loss at Southern Utah, while Northern Illinois fired a 195.800 in a quad-meet victory over Illinois State, Alaska Anchorage, and UW-Eau Claire. Temple posted a 195.525 in its last meet, landing in second place in an EAGL tri meet where the Owls faced Towson and LIU.
Saturday's matchup will be the penultimate home meet for NC State this year, with the Pack's senior day coming on Mar. 10 in a quad meet against Penn, Penn State, and Texas Woman's University.
Tickets for Saturday's contest between the Wolfpack, Cyclones, Huskies, and Owls can be purchased on GoPack.com or at the gate upon entrance into the event. The first rotation is slated for 4 p.m., with a stream provided on the ACC Network Extra through the WatchESPN app for those who are unable to attend.
