Gymnastics Hosts No. 22 Clemson in Reynolds for First Time in Program History

RALEIGH, N.C. – NC State gymnastics is set to host Clemson for the first time in program history on Saturday afternoon, with the Wolfpack and Tigers set for a dual meet in Reynolds Coliseum at 4 p.m.
NC State enters Saturday's matchup coming off its best performance of the season, with the Pack firing a season-high 196.725 on Feb. 11 in a 196.725-194.925 win over in-state foe North Carolina.
The Wolfpack posted its best score of any rotation this season on beam against the Tar Heels, tabbing three scores of 9.9+ during the event en route to a 49.400 during its third rotation.
Just a week before its win over the Tar Heels, the Pack fired a season-high floor score at Clemson in the first-ever meeting between the Wolfpack and Tigers.
NC State used a 49.350 score on floor to hand Clemson its first loss in program history, leaving Littlejohn Coliseum with a 196.300-195.600 victory over the Tigers.
As a result of the Pack's Feb. 2 win at Clemson, NC State currently resides as the only undefeated team in the ACC with a record of 4-0. Additionally, a Wolfpack win over the Tigers on Saturday would clinch the league's regular season championship, with NC State potentially becoming the first-ever program to claim the regular season crown.
