A Win ...
- Would mark the 13th home opening win in program history (13-6)
- The first win of the weekend would mark the 597th win in program history and 230th at Dail Stadium
- Would be the first win in Raleigh for first time head coach Lindsay Leftwich
- Friday marks just the third meeting with the Bison. The last time the two met was in Atlanta in 2011, prior to that the two met in Tampa the season before (2010).
- In the last meeting, NC State won 11-2 and tallied 13 hits. The Pack scored at least one run in all seven innings, except the fifth.
- Friday marks the 25th all-time meeting between the Camels and Wolfpack. NC State is 7-3 in the last 10 meetings (not including the 2015 meeting that was canceled).
- The Pack is 4-0 when the meeting ends in a run-rule ('12, '13, '16, '19).
- NC State has scored as many as 13 runs and as few as one -- The Pack has never not scored when playing the Camels.
- In the most recent meeting, the Wolfpack scored one run after Rebecca Murray scored on a pass ball. The Camels won 4-1.
- Saturday will mark the 24th meeting with the Phoenix. The Pack is 7-3 in the last 10 meetings, 4-1 when playing in Raleigh.

- NC State is 6-0 when the game ends in a run-rule, but 0-1 when it goes to extra innings (2016).
- When the two met last season, NC State won 11-3 in five innings. The Pack scored five runs in the second innings after a grand slam from MaKayla Marbury and Rebecca Murray was walked with bases loaded. The Pack would hit two more homers in the meeting (solo by Taylor Ensley and a three-run by Katlyn Pavlick).
- Saturday will mark just the second meeting between the Huskies and Wolfpack. In the lone meeting in 2004, The Huskies won 7-0 in Atlanta. The Pack recorded three hits in the meeting, compared to the Huskies nine.
- NC State was walked a total of 10 times vs St. John's, by three different pitchers.

- Sophomore Nadia Sykes recorded three stolen bases in the win over St. John's, marking a new career high.
