
No. 8 Wolfpack Sweeps Doubleheader Against Campbell, North Carolina Central

RALEIGH, N.C. – The eighth-ranked NC State women's tennis team completed the in-state doubleheader sweep with a pair of 7-0 victories against Campbell and North Carolina Central on Saturday at the J.W. Ishenhour Tennis Center. NC State (3-0) did not drop a set the entire day as it cruised to its pair of victories.
Match One | NC State 7, Campbell 0
The Wolfpack clinched the doubles point with victories on courts two and three. The seventh-ranked pairing of Maddy Zampardo and Amelia Rajecki topped Campbell's Mariana Ossa and Lily Chitambar 6-2 on court two before the 52nd-ranked pairing of Gabriella Broadfoot and Abigail Rencheli notched a 6-1 victory over Tamsin Hart and Veronika Prospalova on court three.
After clinching the doubles point, the Pack played out the match on court one with the ninth-ranked pairing of Anna Zyryanova and Sophie Abrams recording a 6-3 win over Campbell's Mialy Ranaivo and Eeva Ristola.
In singles, No. 3 Amelia Rajecki cruised to a 6-1, 6-3 win on court one to put NC State ahead 2-0. No. 27 Abigail Rencheli then registered a 6-1, 6-1 victory on court two before No. 40 Anna Zyryanova secured a Wolfpack victory with a 6-2, 7-5 win on court three.
No. 116 Maddy Zampardo also notched a victory in straight sets with a 6-4, 7-6 (7-4) triumph over Campbell's Lily Chitambar on court four. No. 19 Sophie Abrams then extended the Pack's advantage to 6-0 with a 6-3, 6-0 win on court five.
In the final matchup of the Pack's first match, Kristina Paskauskas only dropped one game in a dominant 6-0, 6-1 victory on court six.
