Quarzo Earns Spot on USATF Junior Cross Country Team

RICHMOND, Va. - NC State freshman Jolena Quarzo competed in the U20 women's 6k at the USATF Cross Country Championships this afternoon and tallied a podium finish en route to claiming a spot on the 2024 USATF Women's Junior Cross Country Team.
Quarzo finished the race in 20:44.0 to take third overall and earn a spot on the National Team.
The 2024 World Athletics Cross Country Championships will take place on March 30, 2024 in Belgrade, Serbia. Each country is allowed six entries into each race, with the top-four finishers scoring for each team.
