NC State travels to UVA for first ACC road test

RALEIGH, NC – NC State will play its second ACC contest of the season, traveling to Charlottesville for a showdown with Virginia.

The Wolfpack (4-2, 1-0) and Cavaliers (3-2-1, 0-1) will have a weekend nightcap, clashing at 7 pm Saturday night at Klockner Stadium. The game will be aired on ACCNX.

NC State currently sits atop of the Atlantic Division standings and is the lone Atlantic Division team with an ACC win. Virginia is coming off a 1-1 tie with No. 9 James Madison on Tuesday. The Pack will be looking for its first road win of the season on Saturday.

LAST TIME OUT

NC State scored two goals in the first half and held on for a 3-1 win over Howard. Junior Nare and Yuta Toya each scored in the opening 45 minutes. Late in the game, Luke Hille converted a penalty kick for the final score of the night.
