RALEIGH, NC – NC State got back in the win column, defeating Boston College, 2-0, in its ACC opener.
Now the Pack (3-2) steps back out of conference for a midweek showdown with winless Howard (0-3) on Tuesday. The match starts at 7 pm and will air on ACC Network Extra.
NC State snapped a two-game losing streak with the win over the Eagles, but head coach George Kiefer warned his team about not looking past the Bison.
"You see a lot of ACC teams get tripped up because it's BC then Virginia and the midweek punches you in the face," Kiefer said. "We have to be alert to that."

NC State got back in the win column, defeating Boston College 2-0 in its ACC opener. Junior Nare scored in the first half and Luke Hille closed the game out with a goal with 28 seconds remaining in the contest.
