Wolfpack Drops Road Match at Harvard

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The NC State women's soccer team dropped its road nonconference finale 2-0 at Harvard on Sunday afternoon.
The Crimson (4-1-1) scored once in each half in the Wolfpack's setback at Jordan Field. Gabby DelPico netted a brace for the Crimson in the victory, converting from the spot on a penalty kick in the first half before doubling the lead in the 60th minute.
Annika Wohner almost gave the Wolfpack an early lead when her shot drifted wide in the 15th minute. Wohner's breakaway opportunity missed to the left of goal. Alexis Strickland fired the match's first shot just 11 seconds into the match.
Sunday's match entered a two-hour lightning delay in the 21st minute and resumed over two hours later.
NC State goalkeeper Olivia Pratapas made three saves in Sunday's match.

NC State closes out its nonconference schedule on Thursday night against High Point. The Wolfpack will also celebrate Senior Night at Dail Soccer Stadium. Thursday's match is set for 7 p.m. and will be broadcasted on ACC Network Extra.
