As a Second-Year Senior (2023): Started all 18 matches for the Wolfpack…Tied for the team lead with four goals and eight points…Netted four goals on just 14 shot attempts to rank first on the team with a .286 shot percentage…Scored three goals in nonconference play against Charlotte (Aug. 20), Denver (Sept. 3) and High Point (Sept. 14)…Scored in ACC play at Virginia Tech (Oct. 5)…Ranked third on the team and first among non-defensive players with 1,442 minutes played, playing the full 90 minutes five times…Tied a single-season career-high with four goals…Finished her collegiate career with 13 goals, six assists and 32 points, registering seven goals, an assist and 15 points at NC State.
As a Senior (2022): Started all 18 matches she appeared in for the Wolfpack…Tallied three goals and one assist for seven points…Recorded a season-high four points and two goals, including the game-winner against Rhode Island (Aug. 18)...Finished second on the team with three goals, fourth on the team with seven points, third on the team with 28 shots and tied for third on the roster with six shots on goal….Played all 90 minutes at No. 5 North Carolina (Oct. 9) and at No. 8 Virginia (Oct. 23)…Played all 110 minutes against No. 20 UCF (Nov. 13) in the first round of the 2022 NCAA Tournament.
As a Redshirt Sophomore (2021 At Oklahoma): Tallied a goal and two assists while logging 897 minutes in 17 contests.
As a Sophomore (2020 At North Carolina): Received a medical redshirt.
As A Freshman (2019 At North Carolina): Played in 27 matches and totaled 824 minutes while registering four goals and three assists for 11 points...First college goal came versus Duke when she notched the game winner 13 seconds before the half.
Santoro on Strickland: "Lexi is a player we recruited originally and someone I always believed fit best at NC State because of our soccer. She's very quick, has good attacking instincts, is competitive and will add a lot of experience to our group."
