Pack Takes Home Five Top-10 Marks On Second Day In Durham

DURHAM - The NC State track and field team continued action on day two of the Duke Invitational, claiming five top-10 marks and a new personal best.
THROWS
Katie Horne recorded a throw of 30.00m to take sixth place in the women's javelin throw. Mikieja Covington placed three spots behind her teammate in the event, tossing 21.76m to snatch ninth.
MIDDLE-DISTANCE
After submitting a personal best-time of 3:51.01 in the men's 1500m, Jake Toomey took home ninth place.
In the women's 1500m invite, Amaris Tyynismaa and Grace Hartman each supplied a top-10 clock-in. Tyynismaa placed sixth with her time of 4:22.56, while Hartman crossed the finish line in seventh after running 4:22.92.
