Pack Heads To Gainesville For Tom Jones Memorial Invite

RALEIGH - The NC State track and field team returns to action this weekend, competing in the Tom Jones Memorial Invitational in Gainesville, FL, April 14-15.

LAST TIME OUT
The Wolfpack competed in the Duke Invitational last weekend in Durham, NC. Although the rain forced NC State to compete in only two out of the three days of the event, they still managed to claim five top-10 marks and a new personal best time.
In the men's 1500m, Jake Toomey slotted in ninth place with his time of 3:51.01, good for a new PB mark.
On the women's side of things, Amaris Tyynismaa came in sixth in the women's 1500m invitational, running a time of 4:22.56. Joining her in the top-10 was Grace Hartman, who clocked in at 4:22.92 to take home seventh place.
Katie Horne (30.00m) and Mikieja Covington (21.76m) each placed in the top-10 in the women's javelin throw, taking sixth and ninth respectively.
