Pack will face LIU and Temple
RALEIGH – The NC State gymnastics team returns to action on Sunday, Feb. 26 with its penultimate road trip of the regular season. The Wolfpack will face off against Long Island University and Temple in a tri-meet, with the competition being held at LIU's Pratt Recreation Center.
The Pack enters Sunday's contest having posted its highest road-meet score of the season in its most recent outing. NC State posted a 196.475 in a quad meet at Temple with Penn and George Washington, just two days removed from a dual-meet victory over EAGL foe New Hampshire in Reynolds Coliseum.
Meet host LIU enters Sunday having registered four straight scores of 195+, the first time the upstart program has done so. 2023 marks the Sharks' third year of competition, all of which have come as a member of EAGL.
Temple enters Sunday having competed on Friday, Feb. 24 at North Carolina. The Owls fell in dual-meet fashion, dropping the contest with a score of 194.950. Sunday will mark the third time that Temple and NC State have met this season, with the two squads facing off in a quad meet at Towson on Feb. 10, as well as the quad meet the Owls hosted on Feb. 19.
Sunday's meet will be broadcast online through the NEC's Front Row platform, with the first rotations set to begin at 2 p.m.
