RALEIGH, N.C. - Head Women's Cross Country Coach Laurie Henes has been named the USTFCCCA National Women's Coach of the Year for the third consecutive season, the league office announced on Monday.
The honor comes Henes' way after she led the NC State women's cross country team to its third National Championship in a row on November 18 at Panorama Farms.
The Wolfpack pushed through for a narrow one-point victory in the women's 6k at the 2023 National Championships to claim its third-straight Title with a 123-point performance.
Henes' recognition comes less than a week after she was named the NCAA Southeast Region Women's Coach of the Year for an eighth season in a row.
