
Midseason Meet sees the Wolfpack host the NC State/GAC Invite

RALEIGH, NC – The Wolfpack travel to Greensboro, N.C., as they get set for the NC State/GAC Invite from the Greensboro Aquatic Center beginning on Thursday, Nov. 16, and concluding on Saturday, Nov. 18. Prelims will start at 9:30 a.m. each day and finals beginning at 5:30 p.m. each night.
Joining NC State in Greensboro will be Duke, Virginia Tech, Arizona State, and Army.
The Wolfpack are coming off a tri-meet with Georgia and Duke, which saw the men sweep the tri-meet with the women splitting, taking home a victory over Duke and falling to Georgia.
Last season, the Wolfpack women finished in first place with 2,189.50 total points, while the Pack men ended the meet in second place (1,829.50 points). Both squads enter the meet this season ranked fourth in the nation.
It's been a strong start for Luke Miller, the ACC Men's swimmer of the week, after claiming the fastest time in the nation in the 100 butterfly with a time of 44.17. Miller also has the second-fastest time in the nation in the men's 50 freestyle, clocking a 19.18, which he shares with teammate Noah Henderson, which are pool records at NC State.
NC State also sees the top time in the men's 100 backstroke, with Kacper Stokowski clocking a 44.48.
On the women's side Katharine Berkoff is coming off three podium finishes which included two first place finishes in the 50 yard freestyle and the 100 yard backstroke. Her time of 50.83 is the second fastest time in the country.
