Stephens, Tuohy Grab ACC Weekly Honors

GREENSBORO, N.C. - Katelyn Tuohy has been named the ACC Women's Performer of the Week and Leah Stephens has been selected as the ACC Women's Freshman of the Week, the league office announced Tuesday.

The accolades come after the two Wolfpack runners turned in impressive top-15 performances at the Nuttycombe Invitational in Madison last Friday.

After leading the Pack to its second straight National Championship last year, Tuohy made her 2023 season debut and clocked in at 19:29.5 in the women's 6k championship to take second and help the NC State claim second place in the team standings with 95 points.

Stephens collected her second ACC Women's Freshman of the Week honor of the season after finishing 14th in the 6k championship with a time of 20:12.7. This award comes 10 days after Stephens was named freshman of the week by the ACC for her fourth-place performance in the 5k at the Joe Piane Invitational.
