LAST TIME OUT
The Wolfpack suffered its first defeat of the season Sunday in a 2-0 loss to Harvard at Dail Soccer Stadium. NC State's unbeaten run of five straight matches came to a close behind a brace from Harvard's Ainsley Ahmadian. Goalkeeper Maria Echezarreta made a season-high five saves in the setback, while Jameese Joseph paced NC State with three shots.
SERIES HISTORY
Thursday's meeting at Nebraska will mark just the second matchup between the two programs. The Cornhuskers bested NC State 2-1 in Raleigh on Sept. 9, 2018. Current OL Reign star and former member of the Pack Tziarra King scored NC State's sole goal of the match in the 64th minute.
SCOUTING THE CORNHUSKERS
Nebraska has dropped two straight matches after opening its season 2-1-1, earning victories over Oklahoma and Weber State and tying Arizona 1-1. Cornhuskers Eleanor Dale, Reagan Raabe and Sarah Weber eached earned spots on the Big Ten Players to Watch list in August. Weber leads Nebraska in goals (three), points (seven) and shots on goal (eight) so far this season.
