Wolfpack Women’s 4x1500m Relay Runners Named ACC Track Performers of the Week

GREENSBORO, N.C. - The NC State women's 4x1500m relay squad of Anna Vess, Sam Bush, Savannah Shaw and Katelyn Tuohy have been named ACC Performers of the Week, as announced by the league on Tuesday.

The honors are the first of the season for Vess, Bush and Shaw and the third of the season for Tuohy.

The group made an impact across multiple record books in the 4x1500m at Penn Relays, clocking a 16:55.19 that earned them a second-place finish in the race. The Wolfpack's time ranks second in collegiate history behind Arkansas, who placed first at the meet.

In addition to ranking in collegiate history, the squad's mark set an ACC record in the event by approximately 25 seconds and replaced the NC State record by almost a minute.
