
Pack to Wrap Up Regular Season at Trio of Meets

RALEIGH - The NC State track & field teams are set to conclude their regular seasons April 28-30 as they compete at three meets.
Members of the squad will travel to the Charlotte Invitational, Penn Relays and the Torrin Lawrence Memorial. 37 athletes will compete in 25 events across the meets.

Katelyn Tuohy dashed her way to a first-place finish in the women's 5000m, running a 15:14.61 that ranks as the eighth-fastest time in collegiate history and the fastest in the nation in 2022. The mark set conference, meet, facility, school and personal records, and Tuohy was named ACC Co-Track Performer of the Week for her run.
Timara Chapman took home first place as well, replacing her own school record in the heptathlon with 5614 points. She posted podium finishes in six of the events.
In the women's 100m, McKenzie Long ran a personal-best 11.49 on her way to a third-place finish. Her mark ranks third in program history.
Cameron Murray achieved a third-place finish in the men's long jump, leaping 7.81m (25' 7.5") for a personal best and the fifth-best mark in program history.Â
Murray tabbed his second podium finish of the meet in the men's 110m hurdles, placing first with a 13.94 while Joshua Brockman took second with a 13.95.
The men's 4x100m relay saw Alan Alvarez, Alexander Lang, Alexander Nunley and Henry Young take third with a 39.88.
Jada Griffin ran a 23.55 in the women's 200m for second place, a PR and the sixth-fastest program mark.
Michelle Cobb took the title in the women's triple jump with a 13.08m (42' 11") mark, improving her own third-best program mark in the event.

NC State turns its attention to the postseason as the ACC Championships take place May 12-14 in Durham, N.C.
