Three golfers fire two-under par 70s to lead NC State
AWENDAW, S.C. – The NC State men's golf team is in fourth place out of 16 teams after one round of play at the Hootie at Bulls Bay.
Carter Graf, Eason Paxton and Maximilian Steinlechner all led NC State on day one as the three golfers shot two-under par 70 on Sunday. The trio is tied for 12th place on the individual leaderboard.
Spencer Oxendine was next for the Pack with a one-under par 71.
Ethan Choi rounded out the NC State lineup with a one-over par 73.
Competing as an individual, Brandon Einstein shot an even-par 72 on Sunday.
South Carolina is on top of the team leaderboard after shooting a team score of 17-under par. Ole Miss is in second place, six shots back of the Gamecocks. ETSU is in third place, three shots back of the Rebels and one shot ahead of the Pack.
South Carolina's Ryan Hall and Ole Miss' Brett Schell are tied for first on the individual leaderboard at six-under par.
NC State starts second round play Monday morning at 9:45 a.m.
