
Rifle Finishes Day One of GARC Championships

WEST POINT, N.Y. – NC State rifle finished day one of the Great American Rifle Conference Championships with a 2309 smallbore score on Friday at Tronsrue Marksmanship Center held at Army.
Leading the charge for NC State was John Peterson who tied his career high as he fired a 581. Ben Salas followed behind with a 577, just one point higher than Addy Burrow (576).
Rounding out the scoring for NC State was Katie Tedeschi who shot a 575. Aliya Butt shot smallbore at the Championships as well, firing a 573.
Due to spacing limitations, Lauren Crossley shot both smallbore and air rifle in the first day of action compiling an aggregate score of 1154 with a 567 smallbore and a 587 air rifle total. Her 587 in air rifle tied her career best that she set at the NCAA Qualifiers on Feb. 19.
Additionally, Sam Burrow shot air rifle and fired a 584.
