No. 15 Rifle Set For NCAA Qualifiers

RALEIGH – Postseason prep is upon No. 15 NC State rifle as the Wolfpack will shoot in the NCAA Qualifiers held at Navy on Saturday.
The NCAA Qualifiers give teams another opportunity to earn an automatic bid into the NCAA Championships – top-8 teams earn bids – or allow a student-athlete to qualify by placing in the top-4 overall in either discipline and is not on a team that has earned a bid to the Championships.

LAST TIME OUT
No. 15 NC State rifle could not hold on and dropped a 4692-4662 decision to No. 9 Akron at the Robert A. Pinn Shooting Range on Feb. 12 in Akron, Ohio.
Ben Salas led the way for the Wolfpack as he finished third at the match with an aggregate total of 1171 and Addy Burrow followed behind placing fifth with an 1169 aggregate. In smallbore, Salas fired a 581 which was the second-highest score in the discipline.
