A WIN ON WEDNESDAY WOULD
• Be the 1,002nd win in program history (1001-478)
• Be head coach Wes Moore's 784th career win (783-238)
• Be Moore's 226th win at NC State (225-69)
• Extend NC State's home winning streak to 15 games, a streak that started on Dec. 19, 2021 against Virginia
• Mark the Pack's 50th consecutive home win over an unranked non-conference opponent
NOTING THE WOLFPACK (3-0)
• NC State has won each of its first three games of the year by more than 30 - Quinnipiac (37 points), Elon (34 points), Mount St. Mary's (48 points). The Pack joins LSU and Stanford as the three schools in the nation to have three win margins of 34+ this season while also holding those opponents to less than 60 points.
• Diamond Johnson leads the team in scoring (13.0), three-point percentage (.636), steals (2.3) and assists (3.3). She is the only player in the country to put up these numbers: 10+ points per game, 45+ percent field-goal, 60+ percent three-point, 10.0+ assist- turnover ratio.
• Four Wolfpack players average 10+ points, 3.5+ rebounds and 45.5+ percent shooting. As of Nov. 14, NC State is one of 11 schools with four players at that stat line (according to HerHoopStats).
• The Wolfpack has opened its season with a 3-0 mark in nine of 10 seasons of the Moore era.
• NC State checked in at No. 10 in Monday's release of the AP Top 25, maintaining its preseason ranking after a perfect start to the season.
SERIES HISTORY (NC State leads 7-0)
• Wednesday marks the eighth overall meeting between NC State and Charlotte. The teams met for the first time during the 1978- 79 campaign but have not faced off since Dec. 6, 2015.
• NC State remains unbeaten in its previous seven meetings with Charlotte.
• The Pack has defeated Charlotte by as many as 69 points (112-43 in Nov. 1978) and as few as two points (62-60 in Dec. 1983).
• The last matchup between the Wolfpack and the 49ers ended 72-65 in NC State's favor. That game was played at Broughton High School during the Reynolds Coliseum renovation.
• The Wolfpack is 2-0 in home games against the Mountaineers and 2-0 under Moore's leadership.
