Wolfpack Records Second-Highest Aggregate Score (4,693) in Program History
CHARLESTON, S.C. – The No. 15 NC State rifle team dropped its weekend finale to No. 10 Navy 4,703-4,693 in Charleston, South Carolina.
A day after setting a team smallbore and team aggregate record, the Pack finished with the second-highest aggregate score in program history with a score of 4,693. NC State tallied a 2,327 in smallbore, falling just four points short of Friday's program-record tally of 2,331 against The Citadel. The Pack also impressed in air rifle, tying the third-best mark in program history with a final score of 2,366.
Ben Salas once again paced the Pack in smallbore, tying with Navy's Marleigh Duncan for the top score on Saturday (589). Kendall Goebel (581) and Kyra Meade (580) rounded out the top three Pack shooters in smallbore. Meade's score of 580 also marked a new personal best.
In air rifle, Katie Tedeschi set a new personal best to pace the Pack with a score of 596. Kendall Goebel also set a new personal best with a score of 591. Lauren Crossley rounded out the top-three Pack shooters with a score of 590.
Meade also set a new personal best with an aggregate score of 1,162.
The No. 10 Midshipmen finished Saturday's match with an aggregate tally of 4,703, recording a score of 2,346 in smallbore and 2,357 in air rifle to earn the GARC victory.

NC State concludes the fall portion of its schedule at No. 3 West Virginia on Friday. Friday's GARC matchup in Morgantown, West Virginia, is set for 10 a.m.
