NC State Heads to Clemson for Regular-Season Finale

RALEIGH – NC State men's soccer hits the road for a Friday night matchup at Clemson to round out the regular-season slate. Kick off between the Wolfpack (6-5-4, 1-4-2 ACC) and the Tigers (9-5-1, 2-4-1 ACC) is set for 7 p.m. from Historic Riggs Field and will be aired live on ACCNX.
A WIN FRIDAY WOULD
• Be the 545th win in program history (544-476-108)
• Be the 206th win in Kiefer's head coaching career (205-127-71)
• Be Kiefer's 44th victory at NC State (43-41-20)
• Be Kiefer's 12th ACC victory with the Wolfpack (11-22-13)
• Be the Pack's first victory over the Tigers since beating them in the 2017 regular season
• Extend NC State's point streak, which started on Oct. 11, to six matches
SERIES HISTORY (NC State trails 15-42-7)
• Friday marks the 65th overall meeting between NC State and Clemson. The squads have played each other at least once every season since their first meeting in 1967.
• The Wolfpack has one just one of its last 13 matches against the Tigers. In 2017, Kiefer's first season at the helm of the program, NC State upset then-No. 3 Clemson by a 1-0 score at home.
• The Pack is 7-21-1 in matches played at Clemson. The team's last time beating the Tigers on their home field was Oct. 17, 2008.
