Wolfpack Set For Pair Of Neutral-Site Matchups With Oklahoma, No. 11 Penn State

RALEIGH – NC State women's soccer (3-1-2) will be back on the road this week with a pair of neutral-site matches at Klöckner Stadium on the University of Virginia's campus in Charlottesville, Va.
The Wolfpack will face Oklahoma (3-2-0) Thursday at 4:30 p.m., and then meet with No. 11 Penn State (4-1-0) Sunday at 3 p.m. Both contests will be broadcast on the ACCNX.
LAST TIME OUT
The Pack collected its second-straight shutout win on Sunday evening thanks to its 1-0 result over Elon in Raleigh.
After a scoreless first half, Jenna Butler broke the deadlock in the 59th minute when she headed it in off a corner kick that was serviced by Emika Kawagishi for her third tally of the year.
In total, the Pack tallied a season-high 22 shots (six on target) in the match and controlled possession for 70 percent of the contest, as Jameese Joseph and Annika Wohner led the way with five shots apiece.
SERIES HISTORY
Thursday will be the first-ever meeting between NC State and Oklahoma, while Sunday will be the Wolfpack's second all-time meeting with Penn State.
NC State and Penn State last met on September 2, 2011, in Pittsburgh, Pa., and the Nittany Lions earned a 3-1 win.
HEADED IN BY BUTLER
Butler has tallied three goals this season to rank second on the team in scoring, and all of them have been header goals off of set pieces.
Her first of the season was the equalizer at then-No. 9 Georgetown, while her most recent two have been game winners.

NC State currently owns a 2-0-2 ledger away from home and has scored a combined eight goals on the road, including two or more on three of those occasions.
