Pack Finishes Nonconference Slate with a Draw at Campbell

BUIES CREEK, N.C. - NC State women's soccer completed an unbeaten nonconference slate for the first time since 2004 with a 1-1 draw against Campbell at Eakes Athletic Complex on Sunday night.

Campbell struck first in the 12th minute on a set-piece goal by Kennedy Reed, holding the lead for the next 23 minutes until Jade Bordeleau's 10th goal of the season leveled the game in the 36th minute.

The teams went into halftime tied at 1-1, with NC State outshooting Campbell, 14-4, and leading in corners, 5-1.

The second half was more of the same as the teams traded opportunities to score, but neither could find the back of the net. The teams ultimately settled for a 1-1 draw as NC State closed the nonconference slate at 7-0-1.

Of Note:

With tonight's draw, NC State finishes the nonconference season 7-0-1, marking its first unbeaten nonconference slate since 2004.
The Pack's seven-game winning streak came to an end, tying for the third-longest winning streak in program history.
Bordeleau's goal was her 10th of the season, which leads the team and the ACC. She has now scored in double figures in back-to-back seasons and is the only NC State player to score 10 or more goals in a single season since 2019.
Bordeleau's goal was the 26th of her career.
NC State outshot the Camels, 23-7, continuing its streak of outshooting every opponent this season.
