Wolfpack Rounds Out Home Stretch with Tuesday Night Match Against James Madison

RALEIGH – NC State men's soccer (3-2-0, 0-1-0 ACC) will round out its season-opening home stretch on Tuesday night when it hosts James Madison (4-1-0) at Dail Soccer Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m., and live video coverage will be provided by ACCNX.
FREE ADMISSION
Beginning in 2021, NC State men's soccer games are free of charge. Gates will open one hour prior to the start of the match. As NC State works toward a more normal on-campus experience, NC State Athletics will continue abiding by the current policies for campus as outlined in the University Community Standards.
A WIN TUESDAY WOULD

• Be the 196th win in Kiefer's career (195-116-65)

SERIES HISTORY (NC State trails 1-3-1)
• Tuesday marks the sixth overall meeting between NC State and James Madison.
• JMU won each of the first three matchups between the teams in a series that dates back to 1979. The Wolfpack, however, has come away with points in each of the last two meetings.
• The Pack last faced off against the Dukes in October of 2018. That home match ended in a scoreless draw.
• NC State has hosted JMU inside Dail Soccer Stadium twice prior to Tuesday night's match. The Wolfpack has yet to come away with a victory in a home game against the Dukes.
LAST TIME OUT
• NC State opened a competitive ACC slate on Friday night with a 0-2 loss to No. 2 Clemson in Raleigh.
• Matching up against one of the nation's best and the reigning ACC Tournament champion, NC State held its own. Each team tallied 13 shots on the night, and NC State had most of the momentum in the second half with a 9-5 shot advantage in that period.
• Six of NC State's 13 shots were on target. Eight different players took shot attempts, led by Pablo Pedregosa and Kuda Muskwe with three each.
• Despite Clemson's two goals, keeper Leon Krapf still made six saves on the night. That number was one short of his career-high seven that he made at home against Clemson in the fall of 2020.

• The Pack's 72 shot attempts have been distributed among 15 different players, led by 14 strikes from Henrique Santos.
• Six players have found the back of the net in 2021, with Luke Hille's three goals still pacing the team.

• Krapf ranks fifth in the ACC with his .750 save percentage on the season.
