Wolfpack Earns 2-0 Exhibition Win at Virginia Tech

Santos, Muskwe net NC State's goals in the shutout
BLACKSBURG, Va. – NC State earned a 2-0 exhibition victory over the Virginia Tech Hokies as it competed in its first inter-squad matchup of the 2021 campaign on Tuesday evening.
Wolfpack freshman Henrique Santos netted a goal in his first game in the Red and White, and senior striker Kuda Muskwe converted on a penalty kick for NC State's second score of the night.
Goalkeeper Leon Krapf successfully fended off the Hokies' opportunities in the shutout.
The Wolfpack is set to complete its exhibition slate on Friday, Aug. 20 at 7 p.m. as it travels to take on Duke. The match will serve as a final tune-up for the team before its 2021 season opener at home against USC Upstate on Thursday, Aug. 26.
