DURHAM, N.C. – The NC State men's soccer team rounded out its preseason slate with a 3-1 exhibition victory at Duke on Saturday morning.
The match was scheduled to be played Friday evening but was called in the first half after two stoppages due to inclement weather. The teams reconvened at Koskinen Stadium on Saturday, and the Pack put together another solid outing on the pitch.
Kuda Muskwe, Ivy Brisma (Duke own goal) and freshman Yaniv Bazini all found the back of the net in the matchup.
After earning its preseason wins against No. 15 Virginia Tech and Duke, the Wolfpack now turns its attention to the 2021 regular season. NC State officially opens 2021 action at home on Thursday, Aug. 26 as it hosts USC Upstate. Kickoff is slated for 7 p.m. from Dail Soccer Stadium, and admission to the match is free.
