NC State Baseball Selected To Ruston Regional

RALEIGH – For the 10th time in the last 11 years that the tournament has been held, No. 16 NC State baseball will be competing in an NCAA Regional, as it has earned an at-large bid to play in the Ruston Regional with host Louisiana Tech, Alabama and Rider.

In a double-elimination format, the top-seeded Bulldogs will play fourth-seeded Rider and the Wolfpack, who earned the No. 2 seed in the regional, will face the third-seeded Crimson Tide in the opening round Friday, June 4 at J.C. Love Field at Pat Patterson Park in Ruston, La., and play will run through Monday, June 7.

This is NC State's 32nd postseason appearance and sixth straight, as the Pack has earned a bid in 16 of the last 18 years.

All games will be broadcast on ESPN3, and there will be a free audio stream on WKNC 88.1 and the TuneIn App.
