Pack Set for NCAA Championship in Arizona

RALEIGH, N.C. – The NC State men's golf team makes its 19^th appearance in the NCAA Championship when the competition begins Friday at the Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona.

The format of the tournament is 54-holes of stroke play Friday thru Sunday. After 54 holes, the top 15 teams and nine individuals not on an advancing team advance to the final round of stroke play competition on Monday. After 72 holes, the top eight teams advance to match play The quarterfinals and semifinals will be played on Tuesday and the national championship match will be on Wednesday.

Thirty teams advanced from the NCAA Regionals to the NCAA Championships. 156 individuals will be competing for the NCAA individual title which will be awarded on Monday after 72 holes of stroke play competition.
